I would like to introduce myself, my name is Sam Pfeifer and I have been asked to be the head coach of the Savage Youth Wrestling Club (formally Weatherford Wrestling club).
I am a recent transplant from Nebraska were I was the youth club director and coach for 11 years. I had the privilege of coaching under probably one of the best youth coaches and two of the better high school coaches in Nebraska. Our Plattsmouth Wrestling Club was state champions 3 years in a row and 2 years as runners up prior to.
My plan with Savage Wrestling is to instill the same goals and mindset to the wrestlers that we have in the past. I have the privilege of coaching multiple high school state qualifiers, several state placers and even a couple of Nebraska state champions as well as several that have continued into the college ranks including my 2 boys. I would like to be able to add to these accomplishments with the sons and daughters of Savage Wrestling.
I am looking forward to a great season and the thrills of seeing the youth grow.
